The Island[]
The Island is where the player wakes up: a 12.5km X 12.5 km sprawling landscape. It has a wide variety of biomes with mountains, plains, forests and lakes. Depending on where you spawn on the Island, you will have an easier or harder time surviving. In the mountains, the temperatures are colder whilst in the forests, there are wolves.

You can find loot in shipping containers scattered accross the Island. These require a metal pickaxe to break into, but they can yield high-level loot such as:
